MTU 956 Fasteners and Hardware Parts Catalog

12 of the part numbers we hold for the MTU 956 series are fasteners and hardware, listed against engines such as 12V 956 TB82. The list below is the full set we can quote against for this combination, not a sample of it.

Fasteners, washers, pins, clamps and retaining hardware — the smallest items on an engine by value and the ones most often re-used when they should not be. A threaded fastener stretches on its first tightening, and a tab washer or locking plate that has been straightened out is no longer doing its job. Both are common sources of repeat work, which is why these positions belong on the parts list with a quantity and a grade, not as an afterthought. A small number of genuine drive-side references (coupling, drive shaft, belt pulley, idler gear) sit in the same group.

7 of these 12 references carry an earlier or alternative number in our catalog history. Older parts lists and engine manuals often still quote those numbers; send them as they appear and we check whether the change also affects the parts around them.

Send the engine model code and serial number, the part numbers you need, quantities, and the destination port. We confirm the fitted variant line by line and quote the reference that matches your engine build, rather than the closest number in the list.
